Rich in timber trade tradition, National Forest Products evolved from an established Ontario-based company that launched in the 1930s. Building on this foundation of a solid lumber supply base allowed us to steadily grow over the next six decades without sacrificing its unwavering commitment to supplying quality products and enriching customer experience. In 1992, NFP was incorporated, signalling a period of great expansion.

Today, National Forest Products is a nationwide distributor, wholesaler & broker of the highest quality softwood lumber products, servicing independent retail lumber dealers throughout all of Canada. Not only that, we have started our transition into the U.S. market. Additionally, we own a distribution facility strategically located in Orillia, ON. With a location just north of Toronto, and fringing on the Muskoka region, we are in a prime position to service Eastern Canada’s two biggest markets: Ontario and Quebec. We also facilitate warehouse space in Vancouver and Calgary to better service key markets in the Pacific Northwest.

In addition to optimizing distribution networks, National Forest Products has continued to focus its extensive expertise on refining production techniques and revolutionizing the way products are graded. These initiatives have lead to the introduction of Pinnacle™, an exclusive of line of premium-picked cedar siding, western red cedar decking and cedar shingle panels that gives new meaning to quality assurance. As well, there’s NFP Timber Solutions, a separate division with a specialized logging practice that yields various customized cedar at competitive prices. As with all NFP products, the end goal is, has, and always will be, customer satisfaction.
