National Forest Products Ltd. is a Quality Specialty Softwood Lumber Broker firm that sells an array of various types of species, dimensions & grades of lumber.

We represent over 200 Mills within Canada. With a fully stocked cedar distribution center in Ontario & a distribution facility in Calgary we are able to facilitate our customers needs throughout Canada.

We specialize in supplying Retailers, Truss Fabricators, Lumber specialty shops, Door Mfg., Window Mfg., Log Home Mfg., & Industrial Specialty Fabricators.

Our GOAL is to supply a High End Product that supercedes market standards that satisfies the discriminating buyers needs.

Message from the President:

    I see good things ahead for all those participating in the manufacturing, wholesale, retail & fabrication facets of the lumber industry. With an ending to the downturn in the U.S. a slow but positive rebound to the U.S. economy should filter north into Canada, helping the manufacturing sector.

With interest rates at an all time low people are continuing to purchase homes this will aid all other sectors.

With the Canadian dollar at a high the traditional trend may prevail once again. If the $ does fall we may see STRONGER exports to the U.S. hence higher prices in the manufacturing and wholesale sectors compounded with possible supply shortages if manufacturers' do not increase production levels.

This will only happen if paper prices increase or prices hit levels that will warrant the sales and offset cheap chip prices.

I also see an increasing demand for off-shore exports as quality Canadian Wood becomes more & more requested in foreign markets.

All in all I see a prosperous future for Canada !
